Benefit's They're Real Push Up Liner Review!

The hype is almost over! Benefit will be launching a new sidekick to their famous they're real! mascara and this guy is no joke. In just 2 weeks, you'll finally be able to get your hands on the new they're real! push up liner but first, see if this is the right product for you. (keep reading)

I must say I was super excited when I heard Benefit was launching a new eyeliner as part of their "they're real!" line. I fell in love with their mascara!

I love this liner for it's gel finish. If you're having difficulty using liquid liner, a gel is much easier to use but it traditionally it only came in a pot form. Now that Benefit has launched this gel liner in a pen form, it will be even easier to use! When Benefit claimed that this matte gel will not smudge, budge, or dry out, they were absolutely serious about it. I tried rubbing it off my hand under running water and it did not budget at all, which further shows that it is long lasting.

When you use this product, you will feel a bit of tugging from the brush but that is because it is meant to hug your lash line and fill in the spaces between your eyelashes - perfect for the tight line effect.

While I really enjoyed this product, there are some things to note. Because of the lash hugging tip, I found it more difficult to get that perfect, define line you would get with a liquid liner. If you are planning on using it to create a winged liner, make sure you have some practice before as it may be difficult to get that perfect flick. When you first use this liner, you will also have to twist it quite a few times to get the gel formula out. When I used it, after I got the gel to the tip of the liner, I blended it on my hands to make sure the gel was evenly distributed across the tip.

In conclusion, I did enjoy this eye liner and found it to do what it claims to do but if you want something easy to draw a really defined line, you may want to consider using Benefit's Magic Ink Liquid Liner or even better, use both to intensify the colour. If you want an easy eyeliner to draw tight lines, then this is absolutely perfect for you!

Give it a try:
