Happy Friday!

For today's look, I went for a soft turquoise eye and nude lip. Since I wasn't feeling well for the past few days, I kept my look more or less natural with a hint of colour. I also skipped the falsies today.

Makeup of the Day

Today's makeup look was completed with the Too Faced Boudoir Eyes palette. I am absolutely in LOVE with Too Faced products. I think Jerrod Bladino and Jeremy Johnson hit on every single point with this brand. It's chick, fun, and great quality. The best thing with Too Faced's products is the versatility. It works well with every skin tone and there is someone for everyone. Just take a look at their bronzer collection, for example. There offer 9 different bronzers! One for everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

This weekend, I spent a day at Gatineau Park across the river from Ottawa.

I kept my makeup very simple. I just used a very neutral colour for my lids and matte brown for my crease. I did a thick winged liner to add a bit of drama. My complexion consisted of a bit of bronzer for contouring and a peach blush. I used a burnt coral lip stain for my lips and I completed the look with loose waves done with a T3 curling iron!

I must say I usually have a lot of problems with nail polishes. I'm actually really bad with my nails; I always dig them into random things and that is why my nail polishes never last for more than four days. I also find the shine on most nail polishes fade after a couple of days.

I came across Marc Jacobs nail polishes at Sephora when the line first launched and I fell in love with them! It is super long wear; I think I had mine on for about 7 days before it started chipping (and that's coming from someone who's really bad with their nails). It is extremely shiny, even without a top coat! It also resembles shellac without actually ruining your nails.

I think the quality of the product >> than the price so if you get a chance, make sure you get your hands on these!
